Just last week, a teacher emailed me with concerns (that came from a parent) about a child who had been assisted by another adult to setup a social network account without parental approval.
Today on Twitter, I got a tip about a major report around this very topic.
The Berkman Centre for Internet and Society has released a draft of their major literature review on children's online safety.
I have not yet read the 87 page document, but in scanning it, I saw some very interesting statistics. We hear a lot about online predators, cyberbullying, and harassment, and it is good to read some recent research. - It should be a part of every parent and teachers "homework". Thanks Clarence, for the link.
