Here is something for Maine

Google SketchUp and Discovery Education unitedstreaming™Google and Discovery Education have teamed up to make it easier for K-12 educators to use technology in the classroom. We've created a series of lesson plans that use Discovery Education unitedstreaming and a couple of Google products, Earth and SketchUp, to teach social studies, language arts, math and geography. Available for elementary, middle and high school classrooms, these lessons are available for download right here on the Google for Educators site. This page includes lessons developed for use with Google SketchUp; for lessons that use Google Earth, click on the Earth tab at left. For a quick overview of how to get started with Google SketchUp, download the SketchUp Getting Started PDF below.Getting Started with Google SketchUp PDFConcepts in GeometryCreate two-dimensional figures using Discovery Education unitedstreaming & Google SketchUpElementary School Geometry Lesson PlanLesson Plan PDFElementary School SketchUp Example SKP (Google SketchUp file)Sample unitedstreaming videoTheorem of PythagorasAdvanced Concepts of GeometryExplore geometric concepts and algorithms using Discovery Education unitedstreaming & Google SketchUpMiddle School Geometry Lesson PlanLesson Plan PDFMiddle School SketchUp Example SKP (Google SketchUp file)Sample unitedstreaming video:Theorem of PythagorasGeometry at Work: ArchitectsExplore real-life applications for geometry using Discovery Education unitedstreaming & Google SketchUpHigh School Geography Lesson PlanLesson Plan PDFHigh School SketchUp Example SKP (Google SketchUp file)Sample unitedstreaming video:Theorem of Pythagoras

Since Maine has a free SketchUp license and we have a United Streaming subscription -- this should be something that we look into. If anyone is interested in piloting some of these lessons let me know.Sharon
